Join us for our daily Live at 5, where we'll discuss what's going on with the election and calls to action for white people. Today, we'll be discussing how white people can help organize other white people into anti-racist action!

Join us Live at Five on our Facebook and Instagram pages at 2 PT/5 ET where we’ll share our thoughts about what’s going on in the country, who we’re watching, and what white people can be doing to ensure that every vote is counted in this election.

Friends, On Friday, October 30th friend, respected elder Jalil Muntaqim, who was recently released on parole after nearly 50 years in prison, was issued a warrant on charges related to voter fraud!!! This apparently stems from his mistakenly filling out and mailing a voter registration form as part of a packet of medicare information that he had to complete. He was notified afterwards that he was ineligible to vote and that should have been the end of it. However, the chair... of the local Republican party in the Rochester area started a petition to prosecute him with voter fraud and on October 30th a warrant was issued. He is currently still out of prison and support is being mobilized to keep him free. These charges are clearly politically motivated and need to be strongly opposed! Please sign on to this community letter being circulated which is in opposition to his reincarceration.

Today we mourn the Tree of Life massacre. We lift up the work of Jewish synagogues, organizations and individuals who take collective liberation to heart in so many ways: support for immigrant justice and for the Black Lives Matter movement; fighting Islamophobia and anti-Arab racism; standing in solidarity with the Palestinian people against Israeli apartheid and settler colonialism.
