The journey may be hard, but it is worth it! For Melanie, her journey is all about self-discovery. By trusting the process and focusing on strengthening her mindset, she continues to develop into the best version of herself. Once scared of being morbidly obese, Melanie is now down 50 pounds and stronger and healthier than ever! "I knew a friend who was going to FBBC. My biggest struggle was defeat and my mindset. I had been on diet after diet since my early teens. I was convi...nced that NOTHING would ever work for me, and I was destined to be morbidly obese. My big WHY remains the same. I went to the doctor, and after I received my "diagnosis" sheet, it said "MORBIDLY obese" on it. I sat in the car and cried. My dad had died years before after having had colon cancer, type 2 diabetes, skin cancer, and finally, a heart attack. All of which I believe were from being morbidly obese. I was on the same path, and it was a huge wake-up call. So, my WHY? To be the best and healthiest version of me I can be. I cannot pin it down to one benefit. It has been such a journey. With every challenge, I would learn something new, sometimes about fitness, sometimes about my mindset, sometimes about things I never knew about myself. It has been a journey of fitness and discovery like none other. I've lost 50 pounds and kept that off for three years. I went from a pant size 16/18 to a 10/12. However, I DO want others to know that it is a journey. It was SLOW going and still is. I'm not a fast loser or a "major transformation" person. I've fluctuated since losing the 50 pounds and sometimes I still feel defeated. Sometimes I still struggle with eating correctly and consistently. However, for me, it has to be about SO MUCH MORE than the scale! I feel better, and I am strong. I am healthier than I've ever been in my life and I'm 49! My mental health has improved as well as my physical health. I will never be one of those "wham bam" body types, but I am who I am, and I've finally learned to embrace that! So, to people who are on the journey, know that this your journey, not someone else's. Comparing ourselves to others is never what this should be about. It's scary and it's hard but, so is being morbidly obese. So, which hard do you choose today? Keep going and never give up!" See more

Not only are these mini cupcakes super cute, they are packed with protein, low in sugar and low in carbs. It’s a dream come true! One of the issues that you’ll encounter with protein cakes is that they end up being too dry.... To combat that, these cupcakes contain moist beets, melted stevia chocolate and some Greek yogurt. It worked! Not only are these cupcakes moist, they are fudgy! Enjoy one of these tasty, protein-enhanced morsels with ZERO guilt! SERVES 48 Dry Ingredients 2 scoops Trulean Chocolate Brownie Vegan Protein Powder ( cup) cup unsweetened cocoa powder cup almond flour 1 teaspoon sea salt 2 tablespoons coconut flour cup coconut sugar Wet Ingredients cup lily’s chocolate chips (stevia sweetened) 3 tablespoons coconut oil 1 (15 oz) can sliced beets 1 tablespoon vanilla extract cup unsweetened Greek yogurt cup almond milk 4 eggs Vanilla Protein Frosting cup Butter OR Coconut oil at room temperature cup cream cheese cup mascarpone cheese 2 scoops Frosted Vanilla Cake Protein Powder DIRECTIONS For the Cupcakes Preheat the oven to 320 degrees F. Line 48 mini muffin tins with paper liners. In a large bowl combine all of the dry ingredients. Whisk to remove any lumps. Place the chocolate chips and coconut oil together in a Lazy Man's double boiler over medium heat (place a small saucepan in a frying pan with an inch of water). Stir often, until the chocolate and coconut oil is melted. Drain the beets and place in a food processor. Add the melted chocolate, vanilla, yogurt and almond milk. Pulse until smooth. In a medium bowl whisk the eggs. Add the beet mixture and the eggs to the dry ingredients. Beat until fully combined, about 2 minutes. Fill each muffin tin to the top. Bake for 12 minutes in the preheated oven. Beat the frosting ingredients together until fluffy - about 4 minutes. Pipe the frosting into the tops of the cooled cupcakes. Enjoy!

Be the change you want to see. Jacki was feeling stuck and knew she wasn't creating the health changes she needed to overcome her family's health history. She was holding back in many areas of her life due to fear and embarrassment. Today, she loves being active, has lost 37 pounds, 34 inches, and 4.5% body fat, and overhauled her mindset. "I signed up for the 12-Week Ultimate Transformation Challenge on my 49th birthday. I saw ads and a couple of friends checking in on Faceb...ook. My weight had gone up and down (mostly up) for 25+ years. I was at my highest weight in January 2016, had lost over 15 pounds by summer, but was stuck. My annual lab results the past few years had been climbing and knowing my grandma died of a massive heart attack at age 59, I had to make a drastic change in my life. I wanted to live and be healthy for my family for many years. Being overweight affected who I was, how I felt about myself, what I did. I held back in many areas of my life because I either thought I couldn't do things or feared shame/embarrassment. I was not living a full life. Since joining FBBC, my energy level has soared! I love being active, I feel stronger than I ever have, my confidence is significantly improved, I've been able to run for the first time, and I have a whole new wardrobe! I've lost 37 pounds, 34 inches, and 4.5% body fat at FBBC (plus 16 pounds before joining). I could never lose more than 20 pounds on my own, so to be down more than 50 is only because of FBBC. The accountability, encouragement, change in thinking (who knew I had to eat MORE to weigh LESS?!) have all given me the tools I need. My lab results have made a significant drop. I can do many sit-ups- I couldn't do even one when I began. Plus, I have muscle tone I'd never thought I'd see. I'm so grateful to all the coaches. They've made me do things I didn't think I could and encouraged me to push harder; way beyond what I pushed myself. They truly care. I'm so grateful for the encouragement from a friend to join. You will be equally grateful. You will feel better than you thought possible, and you don't have to worry about how others will view you or your ability. We're all part of a health journey, working to improve every day." See more

The secret to our success is that we never give up. For Joe, the community at Fit Body Boot Camp was unlike anything he had experienced before. The inspiring atmosphere and accountability were just what Joe needed to stick to a consistent routine, a routine that led him to lose 26 pounds and 25.5 inches. With new confidence and focus, Joe now knows he has the strength he needs to continue to reach any goal he sets his mind too. "It has been a little over a year since I start...ed at Fit Body Boot Camp. I started with the 6-Week Ultimate Transformation Challenge and had great success, which is what made me decide to join. Fit Body is unlike any other gym I have ever been a part of. It has given me incredible amounts of endurance and taught me better eating habits that I can live with. In addition, I have been able to run two 5k's without stopping and at pretty decent times! I was able to complete a "Murph" workout which I had never heard of before, but it was definitely hard, and I can say I only got through it because of the workouts at Fit Body. Plus, I have been able to keep the 26 pounds and 25.5 inches that I have lost, off! The gym family that I have become a part of is another reason why I like Fit Body so much. The people at this gym are unlike all the others. Everyone is encouraging and inspiring and pushes each other to give there all. At other gyms, when I would have slipped up or fallen out of routine, I would have just given up. Now, I have learned that just because I slip up doesn't mean I have to give up. So, when I struggle from time to time, I now know that it just means I have to push myself that much harder to stay focused and give it my all on the blue mats! I would just like to say thank you to all coaches for always pushing me to do better and getting me to where I am today! Also, thank you to all the boot campers for truly being inspirational and awesome!" See more
