More than 100 participants gathered remotely to discuss topics like funding and treatment challenges, substance abuse services for youth, insights from youth and caregivers and what lies ahead for our communities in relation to public policy. Our youth had the BEST time last night at our annual #Halloween party! We added a new feature this year, an amazing Trunk or Treat! The trunks were spectacular! The kids enjoyed pizza for dinner, fun booths, scary games and a TON of dancing! Huge thank you to our amazing Casa Pacifica Angels especially our Children's Party Co-Chairs Oksana Zussman, Susan Burgos, Tami Cook, Elsa Philip and all the volunteers and staff who helped put together one of our best parties of the year! Did you know? Each youth admitted to our Camino a Casa program is evaluated by a Psychiatrist or Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who provides medication evaluation and management. Youth are also provided psychiatric service weekly and the psychiatric provider is involved in treatment planning and ongoing case consultation. We recently held a Festival Day on campus hosted by our Clinical Team! The kids had a blast at the various booths like the fish bowl toss (minus the fish), pie in the face and more! There was also a dunk tank, featuring our Recreation Therapy team, miniature horses, rabbits and lots of fun food items! It was such a fun day! Thanks to our Clinical Team and to all the departments that helped make this day a huge success!
