To make your downtime that little bit more indulgent, here are seven ways to turn your bathroom into a 5 star hotel during these times. . 1) Buy fancy towels. No hotel bathroom would be complete without the thickest, fluffiest towels to cocoon yourself in post-shower. ... 2) Light it up. There's a reason why everyone looks better in hotel bathroom mirrors, and it's all down to the lighting. Light bathroom mirrors evenly on either side to limit shadows 3) Stimulate your senses. Essential oils, scented soaps and multi-layered shampoos will all help to replicate those feelings of pampering and relaxation. 4) Bring nature indoors. Add fresh flowers or plants for that clean classic hotel finish. 5) Max out on marble. Think of the most lavish hotel bathroom you've ever entered - we're betting there was plenty of marble in sight. 6) Work with wood. Add subtle wooden accents via stools, countertops or even flooring to bring warmth, texture and authenticity to a modern bathroom. 7) Transform your shower. Invest in a rainfall attachment (choose a filtered head to eliminate nasties such as sulfur, chlorine and scale) that also has a waterfall option to soothe tired muscles after a long day and convince you that you're showering in the Amazon rainforest. Hi Everyone so I finally came around to take some photos of our completed DIY kitchen. . I truly regret not taking before photos however I want to share some of my kitchen design tips to for a small space. . It’s all about working with the layout of your space, whether your kitchen is confined to a single wall, U-shaped, or tucked in a corner.... . Ahead, we've gathered 5 small kitchen design tips to help maximize your space. . 1. Add a prep area; you may not have space to expand or add a full island, so think about brining in a cabinet that can do double duty as a spot for prep and dinning. 2. Remove upper cabinets; open shelves are extremely functional and make it so much easier to access disses and glass. 3. Install pendant light or striking light fixture; Installing lights to brighten up the entire kitchen, and I’m always down for some decorative fixtures over the dining table or center of kitchen. 4. Simple appliances; Counter depth fixtures and keep it cohesive and simple like a slide in cooking range that will allow your backsplash design really come to life. 5. Use color to visually expand; the lighter the kitchen, the larger it feels. Keeping a light pallet on the counter tops, backsplash and walls also helps kitchen feel more open. .
