Casa Grande High School Mountain Bike Team

Ok, so I fell behind in my team FB posts. We raced Granite Bay two weeks ago, then went straight into spring break. (I stress the word "break".) So Jessica gets 2nd and I'm feeling guilty because I want to celebate her accomplishment, but also that there is so much more to this team and NorCal races. Then I start clicking through the pictures (thank you Kristina!) and realize I'm laughing and smiling out loud at all the non-cycling photos! Here's to a great day spent with teenagers, their families (and their dog). Aloha

The Casa/PHS Bike Team finished off race #1 in the The Norcal High School Cycling League 2019 season. Everyone had an amazing day. It was a great time for riders and parents. Believe it or not, the weather was nice we actually needed sunblock! Let's hope race #2 in Granite Bay goes even better.

Today was our last spin camp. We did a race simulation and from the pictures it looks like there was plenty of suffering. Special thanks to our spin instructor, Andy Eber, for putting together our custom workouts. Also, we want to thank Synergy Health Club Petaluma for the use of their great facility!

Here is a recipe to bring you out of whatever funk you are in because of "the world today". Directions: Take bikes, teenagers and a stack of cones to a local park. Mix in some rain and a four foot dirt pile. Ride it over and over!!! Casa/PHS looking forward to a great 2019 The Norcal High School Cycling League Season.
