It's important to be water smart this winter! Make sure you're not sending water down the drain. Set sprinklers to water plants, not your driveways, sidewalks, streets, or building. Need help? Call Carson! 916-856-5400

Freezing temps are on the way; prepare your outdoor plants tonight! Here are some suggestions for you: Water the soil, wet soil holds heat better than dry soil, protecting roots. Bed sheets, drop cloths, blankets and plastic sheets make good covers for weaker plants, cover tonight. Remove the coverings when temperatures rise the next day. Low plantings can be covered with mulch, to keep warm. Cluster container plants close together and in a sheltered spot close to the house. Hope these tips help save a plant!
