Carrina Maree Yoga

One of the most peaceful moments of my week is when my class is in Shavasana. We have arrived and are at total rest. Being a new yoga teacher is both a huge challenge and a great joy. <3

There are so many reasons I find so much JOY teaching adult students yoga, at the same school I teach kids. It is so fun to get to know the parents as students moving in their bodies, and even better they are feeling great! Lots of parents have told me they can feel the benefits each week and look forward to it. Many have said this is the first movement they have done for themselves in years. Plus they feel all cute in yoga pants <3 #gratitude

My first private client comes to me, not the other way around. One of the parents in my Monday yoga class reached out to take one on one lessons. This fills my heart up, I am so glad to share this practice with others!

My 2nd week of adult yoga went fantastic. I have lots of parents saying how different they felt! What a difference it makes to take care of ourselves, even for an hour!

Taught my first adult yoga class at my school yesterday. I am so flattered that so many of my students are brand new to yoga. Lots said they are glad to come because they know me and feel comfortable trying something new. I had a large class this week week and it was just such a pleasure! Teaching lots of moms who's children are my students is the best! Can't wait till next week.

Baby steps are my favorite steps! Tiptoeing, becomes striding becomes a full sprint! I practice celebrating all the baby steps in yoga and in life. Whether it's "Oh my heels are closer to the floor in down dog today.",or I made a small dent in a big project. Yoga teaches me to celebrate each day, each moment. Knowing that this will ALL change makes it easier to accept. Also, I'm not gonna lie. Doing my first headstand felt Good ya'll! <3
