Hello, 2020 update: I'm currently offering online drum set lessons! I have taught music professionally for more than a decade, at my own private instruction studio, and as faculty at Music Maker School in Acton, MA and Red House Studios in Walnut Creek, CA. I have a B.A. with honors from Berklee College of Music in Boston with an emphasis on drum set performance, and have performed worldwide in genres ranging from jazz to rock to Latin to classical to funk.... I love working with students of all ages and abilities, and take great pleasure in seeing firsthand how positively music can give a student confidence and joy. I normally teach house-call lessons within Oakland/Berkeley/Piedmont, but am currently offering online lessons during the pandemic.
