"Some compounds such as resveratrol, a substance found in red wine that seems to have anti-aging properties in high concentrations, appear to delay epigenetic change and protect against damage from epigenetic deterioration, Sinclair says. These approaches can reverse some aspects of aging, such as muscle degeneration..." https://www.scientificamerican.com//aging-is-reversible-a/ http://www.carrcellularfitness.com/products/veracell

We're just about two weeks away from OPEN CALL, the always eagerly-awaited community talent competition produced by the McCallum Theatre. For tickets, go to: ...http://bit.ly/2mfoTua. Staring today, we will feature each of the finalists so you can learn about them before you come to see the show at one of the four performances on April 13-15. First up, Ciera Carr & Roger Perry. Ciera is 9 years old and she saw OPEN CALL last year and loved it. "I wanted to try it for myself and be part of this amazing show," she said. Roger, 83, believes "you never know where talent is. OPEN CALL is a good way to find out." Ciera is inspired by her singing teacher, Kaitlyn Farley who won OPEN CALL last year. Roger is inspired by opportunities like OPEN CALL. "They don't come around that often, so grab them when you can," he says. Ciera;s motto is: "Stay happy by doing the things you love and loving the things you do. Roger's motto is, simply, "Always be ready." Ciera's dream is to become a professional performer. Roger's dream "is that entertainment like OPEN CALL is around forever."

For all the unfortunate women being denied estrogen because of misinformation from their doctor and the media, I offer this graph. The risk of breast cancer increases and accelerates as levels of estrogen decrease with age. Do you really believe that the same hormone that gave you breasts (estradiol), turned on you 40-50 years later to now give you breast cancer? If estradiol caused breast cancer, it would be a disease of high school girls (monthly estradiol level reaching 500) as opposed to post-menopausal women (estradiol level approaching zero). Ask your doctor about this and watch his/her reaction. They want you to think you are too uninformed to make this decision, when the fact is that they are

Checkout this article about a fivefold increase in drugs' side effects since '04. The worst part about this troubling information is that "...only drug companies, not doctors or patients, are required to report problems." In 30 years of medicine, I have never been told how to report a potential adverse reaction. Doctors should have the electronic access to report problems easily, as they are the ones to first hear about it. Instead, the FDA leaves it up to the drug companies, like the fox watching the henhouse. USA Today article 3/20/17g http://www.usatoday.com//analysis-reports-drug-s/99384190/

I hear concerns from women almost daily that if they go on bioidentical hormone therapy, that they will be at increased risk for developing breast cancer. The graph below says it all-the risk of breast cancer increases significantly when the hormones progesterone and estradiol decrease-that is, during menopause and after. It should be apparent that LOW natural hormone levels is associated with a significant increase risk of breast cancer, and that statistically a women's highest risk of breast cancer is with LOW estradiol and progesterone.
