Despite being closed to the public for most of 2020, the District was busy with the Carpinteria Advanced Purification Project (CAPP), development of our Groundwater Sustainability Agency (GSA), and modification of our water rates with more progress to come in 2021.

8th Street & Yucca Avenue Valve Replacement Project, Preparation for replacing a broken water main valve in the 8th Street & Yucca Avenue area will begin on Tuesday, August 4th. Interruption of water service may be experienced from 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, August 5 through 4 a.m. on August 6, 2020. Notification letters were mailed to affected customers.
