This woman was the perfect candidate for a transconjunctival blepharoplasty. She had bagging in the lower lids but not alot of excess skin, and her skin elasticity is good. A transconjunctival blepharoplasty is performed with the incision on the inside of the lid only. The fat can be removed through this incision. This technique reduces healing time and reduces the chance of postoperative eyelid positional changes.
