(Which basically means I get to sing any thing I want to, and yes, tell any story I feel like telling.) I am honored to have Alicia Previn, renowned violinist, singer/songwriter/author and Dory's step daughter join the show. Bringing to life the stories and songs of Dory Previn, Carol weaves a magic spell of provocative insights into the fine line between "creative and crazy". Sharing the amazing talent of singer/songwriter of Dory Previn and her battle with mental illness, Carol hopes to shed some new light on the struggle, the courage and the survival behind this prolific a...rtist. Weaving personal stories and perspectives into her performance, Carol's goal is to have her audience walk away with renewed compassion, understanding and tolerance for those who suffer with their own demons. Accompanied by Dave Austin, piano, Carla Kaufman, bass, Ned Boyton, guitar, Bob Blankenship, drums and Alicia Previn, violin, (singer/songwriter and author) Jeannie Anderson will join on percussion.
