CONGRATULATIONS Dale Garman!! Dale told us yesterday that he received news this week that the people from the "Marquis Who's Who" chose him to receive the "2020... Alfred Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award". WooHoo! I looked it up and it is a very BIG deal! It stated that, "The selection of individuals for listing in its publication, 'Who's Who Lifetime Achievement', is based on reference value, intended for individuals with at least 10 years of documented accomplish-ments in the field of higher education sustainability who have had a significant impact on a large number of individuals and organizations. It recognizes individuals that have achieved greatness in their industry, excelling in their field for at least 20 years, and we are proud to display their accomplishments here. Individuals become eligible for listing by virtue of their positions and/or noteworthy achievements that have proved to be of significant value to society." Very impressive and we are very proud that he is a member of CVAA and that he graces our walls! On a simpler note, Dan also sold some more of his whimsical Quail covey wood sculptures in the gallery yesterday... they are flying off the shelf.
