Congratulations to Brian Kulas on his victory in our annual Players Club Blind Draw with a PGA Pro tournament held on Saturday. In this fun format, players draw the name of a PGA player playing in the US Open to be their partner in a 2 player combined score event. Brian was fortunate to draw Rory McIlroy as his partner and they cruised to victory winning by a combined 6 strokes.

Lost dog on golf course. This friendly guy was found running loose on the golf course this morning. If you recognize him please contact the pro-shop at 619-448-8500. Let’s help reunite him with his owner.

This weekend is our annual 36-hole Club Championship tournament. Who do you predict will win?

The 18th Hole at Carlton Oaks is a great finishing hole. A long Par Four that plays directly into the wind, requiring a good tee shot to set up your second shot. The approach shot is over water to a multi-tiered green, protected by bunkers and a lake to the left. Par is a good score on this hole.

Congratulations to our Carlton Oaks SCGA Team Play team on their 26-22 victory Saturday against the team from La Costa in Round Two of the playoffs in the 2020 SCGA Team Play tournament. Teams from all over Southern California compete in the annual tournament with each team fielding 16 players in a team match play format. With the win, Carlton Oaks advances to the next round with the final 8 teams.
