Registration for the Carlsbad Legacy Wrestling Winter Session is now open! We will practice on Tuesdays and Thursdays 6-730pm at Sage Creek High School beginning on Dec 3rd. Our assistant coach Timmy Box just became CLWC’s first wrestling national Champion! Way to go Timmy!

Carlsbad Legacy Wrestling Club wrapped up the season this weekend at the California State Championships in Clovis, CA. We took 16 wrestlers. Every one of them showed tremendous heart and a competitive spirit. We finished in the top 9 as a team with 7 placers. Mason Walsh and Charlie Martel were the club’s first State Champions. Sylvestor Jones placed second. Harry Koenig placed third. Brea and Kael Sepulveda took sixth. Waylon Martel placed eighth. Congratulations to our wrestlers and thank you to our coaches who helped develop our team mentally and physically all season.

Congratulations to our Legacy wrestlers who competed today at the San Diego State Championship qualifier tournament. We had multiple champions and place winners. It was a great performance resulting in a second place team finish.
