Caring for Women

Caring for Women is striving to help keep patients and staff as safe and healthy as possible during this difficult situation. Due to the "shelter in place" order, we will be seeing urgent and emergent patients only in our office. Also, our phones may be a little congested or sometimes transferred to our answering service during normal business hours. If your call is not urgent or emergent please try us back later or the next day. If it is a true emergency or urgent that yo...u reach someone, our answering service will make sure that they reach the appropriate person to call you back. We will also be implementing the following protocol for appointments: 1. When you arrive for your appointment please remain in your vehicle and call us so we can check you in. 2. When the medical assistant has your room ready, she will call you to have you meet her at the door so that you can have your temperature taken and asked a few screening questions. 3. Once you have seen the doctor, you need to stop at "check out" to be check to see if your provider has left any orders or instructions for you. If you have a non-urgent or emergent appointment scheduled, our staff will be calling you to change your appointment to a TELEMED appointment with the doctor or providing you time in July for an in-office appointment. It is very important that we all do our part to help reduce the spread of COVID-19. This is very serious and with everyone's cooperation, we can actually save lives.
