It is indeed very difficult to express in words and to be the bearer of sad news. After a month of fighting COVID-19, Ms Maria Lourdes Rivera (or simply Ms. Malu, as she is fondly called by her Hemodialysis Technician students in San Mateo, California from 2013 to 2018), succumbed to the virus this afternoon in San Diego, California. In behalf of Careway Health Institute, I express our heartfelt condolences to her family and loved ones. We will always remember you Ms. Malu. Rest now, our beloved mentor/preceptor...rest you now in eternal peace.
