Care Net Pregnancy and Resource Center of Santa Maria

We love that we can give back to our clients in our parenting program. It must be a year for boys because we are running low on clothing! If you have any gently used boy clothes all sizes to donate, we would love to restock! Our hours are Monday 10-2, Tues-Wed 10-4 and Thurs 1-6 for drop off. We just ask that you wear a face covering. Thank you!

We will be open for pregnancy tests starting Monday but will continue doing our parenting classes online for now. We are excited to slowly get back into the swing of things!

**** RESCHEDULED **** Our golf fundraiser set for May 2nd is being rescheduled for a later date. We will let you know when we get the all-clear!

A huge thank you to South Valley Community Church for donating 1,098 diapers and 13 cans of formula for our clients. We will be able to supply 45 clients with those diapers, which is a blessing to them... and to us!

We have limited our hours these past two weeks but still serving our clients while taking proper precautions. We know diapers and wipes are difficult to get so we are staying open and scheduling clients to come by for curbside pick-up. We've served 20 so far and given to other organizations -- over 500 diapers along with wipes. Clearly, Care Net is an essential organization in our community. We are thankful for the individuals, churches, and groups who so generously donate so we can give back and be available to those in need. God bless you and be well.

We are proud to be in our 30th year of service! So many lives changed, people helped, babies born, and families healed. Thank you to the generous donors who make it possible for us to do every day. 1990-2020 and beyond!

We are so thankful to First Christian Church for their overwhelming support during our baby bottle fundraiser! We handed out 250 bottles in January and collection day is today! If you forgot your bottle at home, you can bring it to the church or to our center. Again, thank you!

We are so thankful for this local YAF group that called us back in December wanting to know how to help Care Net. We first set aside a Friday for them come in for a tour then spent time talking about any topic they wanted to discuss -- and there were some good ones! From relationships to STIs to marriage, and also wanting to know our biggest obstacle serving in our community. They then did a diaper drive and dropped off the items this morning. They collected 2,470 diapers, which will cover 102 clients and 136 packs of wipes, along with a bag of brand new clothing and baby lotions. So blessed! One of the free and confidential services Care Net offers is post-abortion healing. It doesn't matter how old you were when you had your abortion, how many you've had, or how old you are now -- we can help. Support groups are being offered in Santa Maria and Santa Ynez starting March 3rd. Our trained coordinators are waiting to come alongside you. The first step is to reach out. Men are welcome too. Let this year be your year of healing and freedom!
