The Alzheimer's Association now has many of its education programs online. Several of the classes are presented in Spanish. Registration is required. June is Alzheimer’s & Brain Awareness Month. The Alzheimer's Association offers a number of Alzheimer's and dementia courses available online, 24 hours a day. Happy Mother’s Day! The team at Carefield Pleasanton Memory Care created special windows to celebrate Mother’s Day (and the special women in our lives). The windows feature photos of some of our residents who wanted to participate in celebrating the day. If family members are visiting their loved ones this weekend outside our front windows, these photos will be on display. Also, there is one window with a beautiful frame border, perfect for taking pictures

Our culinary team at Carefield Pleasanton Memory Care is committed to providing a nurturing and satisfying dining experience for our residents. Always having our residents well-being and care in mind, our meals are prepared with fresh and flavorful ingredients with dining options and choices.

A local family (with their dog on board) wanted to spread some cheer to the neighborhood and drove by Carefield Pleasanton Memory Care waving at the residents who were at the front windows. They had even decorated their car with a face mask on the front. Thank you our residents really enjoyed this!

Here is one of our residents using today's technology to have a conversation with her loved ones. At Carefield Castro Valley Assisted Living & Memory Care, we are helping our residents communicate via FaceTime, Skype and social media; sending cards and letters and speaking by telephone as often as possible.

This was a heartwarming moment to capture - our Carefield Pleasanton Memory Care resident and her daughter enjoying some time together. Even though it was through the window, they were both excited to see each other to talk and catch up.

The front window of Carefield Pleasanton Memory Care is filled with hearts in support of the #worldofhearts movement on social media. The #worldofhearts symbolizes encouragement and positivity during this challenging time. Our community chose a Fly Me to the Moon theme as an era that is near and dear to our residents. By filling windows with hearts, neighbors and those passing by our community will know we are in this together.
