Thanh’s has had much success during his time at Career Institute. He is currently completing his high school diploma at Operation New Hope. He began a work experience to gain workability skills at Operation New hope helping with the following: Food Pantry: that feeds over 500 families every weekend Free Swap Meet: Showering Love in the Streets providing individuals with Mobile Showers, clean, clothes, shoes, and food Youth Reinvestment Program: Cleaning and sweepi...ng the streets of San Bernardino and restoring the community With the skills he has gained, he currently has secured employment as a Clerk. Georgia joined Career Institute staff in July of 2014. Georgia is an alumni of Career Institute and now giving back to her community as a Career Mentor and WIOA Co-Program Coordinator. She assists Career Institute with developing a career plan and helping them chart the next chapter in their life. She assists with helping students validate their career by placing them in Work Experience/Internships. In addition, she helps students start a career by placing them in train...ing programs where students receive demanding industry certificates. Her Success began at Career Institute and her passion in helping students has allowed her to now earn a Master’s degree in Educational Counseling, at the University of La Verne. She now serves as a part-time counseling a local Community Colleges helping students navigate the college system. As a former student of Career Institute, she knows firsthand the positive influence and life-changing experiences Career Institute provides for the students.
