More boats! We're seeing lots of boats lately. This seems like a good time to get your boat sounding right since it's one of the few things people can enjoy right now...and there's nothing like a good, full-range, properly rocking system in your boat. 'just saying.

With approximately 50-60+ vehicles in the shop each month, it's nice to grab a camera sometimes and capture some of the more notable ones...

Keeping busy here, 'seems people were itching to get out and get some stereo upgrades done! We're booked out a month, with lots of nice machines going through the shop for various things.

We're open and operational! We've been handling our online orders, processing and shipping those, as well as some individual appointments while keeping the storefront closed. Now we're fully open and back to regularly scheduled program. We missed you!!!

COVID-19 Update: Our retail store is still closed, we're trying do our part to keep the public, us and our families safe. Our webstore is still processing and shipping orders though. Be safe everyone!!!

Heads up customers and friends: In light of the California statewide stay at home order for all residents, we will be closing the store for the coming week, starting tomorrow, Friday 3/20, presumably for a week or so but perhaps longer. John is one of our favorite customers, 'super nice guy who likes nice cars, hehe. Here's his Jag convertible for a couple tweaks to the radar/laser system we installed recently. Look at this sexy machine!

Some nice rides in the shop including a Porsche 991.2 GT3, a Porsche 997 C4S, a couple of Toyota trucks including a 4Runner with a very nice sound system we did several years ago.

Bart brought his super-clean 2006 Chevy Silverado crew cab for some upgrades. He really wanted a clean, good-sounding system that would allow him to rock out properly without taking up usable space. Kenwood Excelon double din indash unit with wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Bluetooth, HD Radio, etc, JL Audio VX1000/5i amplifier with DSP, Hertz Mille MLK1650 component speakers up front, Stealthbox with dual 10" subs, fully active system, damping mat-and this truck sounds good!!! He's super stoked!

'couple of interesting cars we worked on recently: a Porsche 991.2 GT3 for front laser defense, hardwire his portable radar detector and install front and rear dashcam setup. 'Little bit tricky mounting the rear camera with the roll cage! BMW Z8 to fix work previously done at a shop in the Bay Area. Fortunately 2.5 hours is all it took to rectify some issues and dial in the setup. It left sounding good.

Lloyd's 4 Runner is just about complete! We've got just a bit of final tuning remaining, some cleaning and dusting to do-then he's going to pick up this machine and dig it! Jake did most of the work on this machine including the custom fabricated subwoofer enclosures each housing a single JL Audio 12TW3 12" subwoofer. They sound as good as they look!

Remembering some lives lost recently, reminded by someone who works on these crews. Gerrad is a great customer of CAI and is heartbroken. Best wishes to the crews and residents of Australia, battling these fires.
