NOTICE November 18, 2020 Captain Jack's is temporarily closed effective today following the Governor's recent mandate. All indoor dining is prohibited once again, given Orange County regressed to the most restrictive COVID-19 purple tier. ... This news is difficult, to say the least, especially since we cannot accommodate meaningful outdoor seating or offer take-out at this time. Please take note of some temporary changes to our dining experience to meet California’s dine-in guidelines. Among them, capacity is limited to 25%, and all guests must wear a face mask when entering the restaurant and in all public areas like the bathroom and waiting area. ... Dinner service by reservation only. No walk-ins at this time. Dinner hours: Mon. - Fri 5:00 10:00 pm; Sat-Sun 4:30- 10. Reservations: 562-592-2514 from 3:00-6:00 pm. Reservations will be taken up to one week in advance only. Parties of 1 6. No large parties at this time. Providing a clean, safe environment for our guests and team members remains our highest priority. All safety and protection protocols previously implemented will be diligently maintained. Dear Captain Jack’s Guests: Today, Governor Newsom mandated the closing of indoor dining at restaurants in nineteen counties, including Orange County, amid the spike in coronavirus cases. The restrictions are effective immediately for the next three weeks. We are greatly disappointed by this turn of events, as we have loved seeing your much missed, smiling faces, and serving you your favorite Captain Jack’s specialty since reopening just three short weeks ago. ... However, as always, the health and well-being of our team and guests remain our highest priority, and we will continue to do our part in keeping you and your families protected by adhering to the current guidelines and safety measures. This week we celebrate our freedom and pay tribute to our brave American heroes for all of the sacrifices they have made for us. And to the frontline workers risking their own lives to protect others during this pandemic, they, too, are heroes, and we are forever grateful. Happy 4th of July and God Bless America!
