Our Hawaiian Luau was a huge success. Thanks to Mahana Entertainment for providing the hula. Yes, we tried to hula!
Last night was a special evening for CAPS as three of our artists exhibited in the Memories in Making galley exhibition & auction . Jane with My Farm House; Lenore with Trees, Water, Sun; and Kathy with her mother's Flowers. Everyone had a great time and felt like celebrities. Thanks to Alzheimer's Greater Los Angeles!
Congratulations to Stephanie for earning the Girl Scout Gold Award!!! Her project involved her two passions Lineage Dance and CAPS. She held a funding raising show with student performances of dance, art, or music last fall. The funds raised have provided weekly dance classes at CAPS. Our seniors have definitely benefited by this wonderful young lady!!!
Everyone enjoyed the Lineage Dance class yesterday! We are becoming more flexible.

Thank you to the Pasadena-Foothills Association of Realtors Charitable Foundation for your generous grant to CAPS. We sincerely appreciate your support! Here is Mimi accepting the check.
Fun day in the garden painting like Picassco!
Interesting study.
The Luau was a huge success this year! We did the limbo, counted how many leaves on a pineapple, played coconut bowling and danced the hula. It was a fun full day!!!
The CAPS staff with Karen our fabulous volunteer!
Yesterday was an amazing day for CAPS. We were recipients of a grant for art supplies from Thrivent. We celebrated by wearing matching T-shirts and painting a fruit display. The members were really involved with their work.
