Campus Commons Pet Hospital

Hello everyone. As COVID-19 is an issue for us here in Sacramento we are implementing protocols to protect both our staff and public from contracting the infection. As we run into issues we may change our policies but as of today we have done the following: 1. Our door is locked to limit the number of people in our office at one time. Please call when you arrive and we will let you in one at a time. Also please only one person from a family to keep the numbers down. 2. Call ...us ahead of time for medication refills or food. We will set them aside for you. Also that way you can be sure we have them on hand before you make the trip. And we can bring them to the car to limit exposure for all. 3. Dr Patton and the staff are going to maintain the 6 foot social distancing as recommended by public health officials. This means the exam of your pet may be conducted without you present and that we may ask more questions before you arrive. 4. We want your pet to stay healthy. If you have a question we will try to return an answer as soon as possible. We are treading these waters on a case by case basis. See more

It's time to announce the newest member of the CCPH family! Meet October (Tobi), our new office kitten. After we lost Tom, we weren't sure if we were ready for a new cat, but then Tobi came into our lives. Tobi was rescued from the Kincade Fire in Sonoma. The family who rescued her loved her, but their cat was not ready for a new family member. Once we met her, we realized we were! We are sad to announce that we recently lost our office cat, Tom. Tom was a fixture around here for what seems like forever, after being rescued by a former employee many years ago. We estimate that he lived to be 20 years old, having lived a beautiful, full life with as much love and attention as he wanted (which was a lot!). As with many cats, we felt like Tom owned the space (our office) and that we worked for him. He is dearly missed, but we are grateful for the time he was in our lives. We are comforted knowing that he also touched many of yours.
