To all the moms who have come to camp to invest in their families and draw near to their children over the years, we wish you a very happy mother's day. What have been some of your favorite connection times at camp?

The following few images (taken by our director Hal Hill) on town trip to receive mail and other essential supplies, bring to mind the scripture from Romans 8:19-21, "For the creation eagerly waits for the revelation of the sons of God. For the creation was subjected to futility - not willingly but because of God who subjected it - in hope that the creation itself will also be set free from the bondage of decay into the glorious freedom of God's children." We wait with the creation for that blessed day.

#dolphins are often seen #bowriding on the ferry trips across the channel or boat trips to and from camp, but rarely seen this close and clearly. This day in November 2019 was just the right combination of stillness, water clarity and direction of the sun to make for some dramatic video. Just some of the magic to be found on #CatalinaIsland. Sealife like this is often seen just off the coast of our #christiancamp.
