So great, we have MET our $2,021 fundraising goal, and yet there's still lots of LOCAL TREASURE left! For example, you could solve the gnarly question of what to give Cousin Martha with one of Bob's Winning Wines choose a zinfandel (F. Stephen Millier Black Label Lodi Old Vine Zinfandel 2018), a red blend (7 Deadly Sins 2017), or a chardonnay (Iter California). And we just lowered the requested donation! Just visit the Food& Drink page and look for item F107 https://cvlocaltreasure.blogspot.com/p/food2.html
The LOCAL TREASURE fundraiser is now at 94% of our fundraising goal! Amazing support from donors and treasure hunters, thank you! come visit the site for the latest updates: cvlocaltreasure.blogspot.com.
The LOCAL TREASURE fundraiser has now raised over $1400, more than 2/3 of the way to our $2021 goal! What will be the next item to be claimed? cvlocaltreasure.blogspot.com/p/welcome.html. Thanks to more folks claiming their treasure and making donations, including Stephanie W, Rita O, and Jennifer!
Hello friends, we hope you're keeping safe and well! Due to current local and state mandates, the Center is closed with no activities scheduled. This would be a great time to continue needed renovations, so we're hoping you can help with a new kind of fundraiser LOCAL TREASURE just in time to help with holiday gift options! Can you donate something that others can buy - perhaps something to eat or a craft item? If you can donate more than one item or service, even better!... The fundraiser will start December 1 and people will be able to buy the donated items, which will be posted on flyers and on line with instructions how to buy. With your help, we can help folks fill their shopping list with LOCAL TREASURE. The fundraiser will help the Center raise $2,021 to build a cement front porch. This is the next step toward renovating the front of the building so that it's safer and structurally sound. Here are examples of things you can donate (donate one or multiples): A special dessert or loaf of bread * A piece of art or a craft item * A service such as editing, garden consulting, computer help, music lessons, color consulting, a horseback-riding lesson, dog training * Two hours of baby-sitting, dog-walking, garden raking, errands running * Got horse manure for gardens? Willing to cater a dinner? Have a vacation cabin to offer? Please let us know ASAP by answering these questions using this Google form (easier for us if you would!) or send email to [email protected]. Or, call us at 530-288-5016. * Your name and contact info: * What item, service or resource can you donate, and what quantity? * How can we describe it? (let's use the most fun and enticing words possible!): * What price should we set for each item? (think high, it's a fundraiser!) * Can we use your name? * any additional comments or concerns? If possible, please provide a digital image such as a photo or clip art. Please respond as soon as you can. THANKS!

December 5 is the next date for Coffee @ the Center! Thanks to Jocelyn and Jeanie for hosting last week. Our Coffee Curator, Jocelyn, says NO MORE NOVEMBER COFFEES,as there are some painting and small construction projects happening at the Center over the next couple weeks and with the rising number of COVID19 cases, we thought it best to just be safe and take a few weeks off. If all goes well and things are looking up, we will be back in action come December 5th.... We need hosts! Please message us. Apologies to the person who sent a message last week - it got lost - please message us again!
The weather is good and gardens are still producing so the Gardeners Market will continue tomorrow, Oct 3rd. There is music, coffee, veggies, cheesecake, and much more. We hope to see you! Face coverings required and socially distanced of course:)
