Camp Tahquitz

It's snowing at Camp Tahquitz! As of this morning there was 13" of snow on the ground. With a bigger storm expected this week, Joe says he will be measuring snow in FEET. Joe and his wife are doing well and staying warm. Stay tuned for more photos in a few days!

Camp Tahquitz update #2 We have good news to report. Due to the heroic efforts of the fire crews, it appears that camp has been spared thus far! The main fire l...ine seems to be holding just off camp property near Jenks Lake Road. We have seen video confirmation that all buildings are fine as of Sunday and there is little evidence of fire in camp. The fire is still actively burning near camp. We will continue to monitor the situation closely and provide updates as things change. Again, we are very grateful for the work and dedication of the fire crews and we are especially saddened by the loss of life. Please continue to pray for all those affected by the fires all across the West.
