After almost two weeks of smoke from the Creek Fire, what an amazing blessing to wake up to a light rain and fairly clear skies at Sugar Pine! The Creek Fire is still only 20% contained and we know that the smoke will return, but this is a much needed breath of fresh air. Thank you SO MUCH for your prayers and words of encouragement during this season. They, too, are like a breath of fresh air to our team and to this ministry as we continue to work through a ministry year filled with challenges. What a timely reminder that although our world will always change, our Father remains faithful. He does not change like the shifting shadows!

We have appreciated your prayers so much at Sugar Pine as our whole mountain community waits to see what happens with the Creek Fire. If you look at the fire map image, the Sugar Pine area is circled in the top left hand corner. We are in an evacuation warning zone which means we need to be ready to leave quickly if needed. Please join us in praying for the 1300+ firefighters who are working around the clock to contain this huge fire. Our hearts go out to those who are evacuated and to those who have already lost homes, land and businesses. We will post updates as things progress. Thanks for being part of the Sugar Pine prayer team!

GIVE TO HELP SUGAR PINE COVID RELIEF: https://www.sugarpine.org/covid19-relief Sugar Pine needs your help to recover from the COVID-19 pandemic. We will be unable to serve over 70% of our guests this year because of federal, state and county restrictions. Back when Sugar Pine started in 1954, nobody imagined a world-wide pandemic, but they did put their faith firmly in our world-changing God, who never changes (Hebrews 13:8). Please prayerfully give to keep this legacy of impacting lives for Christ going strong here at Camp Sugar Pine.
