Operations Little Learners is a parent and child class that promotes socialization, child development, motor skills, developmentally appropriate practices, kindergarten readiness, and positive parent/child interactions. Our program is offered to children ages 18 months to 5 years. You can be a part of the fun in the comfort of your own home! The cost is $30 per month/session; $15 per additional sibling/child. Classes are divided by age groups (18 months-3 years; 4 to 5 years). Class days and times are: 18 months to 3 years Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. 4 to 5 years Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Classes will be facilitated twice a week. Each class will be 1 hour long and include music and movement, STREAM activities, crafts, peer interactions, and a positive learning environment. Field trips (both virtual and in-person) are an exciting part of our program! Our program offers supplemental activities each month like our preschool cooking class. This year, they will be offered for FREE! We have launched an all-new virtual support class for parents and guardians! Tea Time is a virtual class for parents to bond and share tips and resources with each other while participating in fun activities. All preschoolers will receive a class kit for signing up! Class materials, like craft supplies and worksheets, will be provided each month. Participants will need to pick up supplies on a designated date/time. Join United Through Reading and Read for the Record with Jumpstart on October 28th. Their 15th annual Read for the Record is a high-visibility annual fall campaign engaging over 2 million participants reading the same book in October. The Mobile Story Station will be onsite from 3PM-6PM to record you reading this year's book to the special child in your life. You will receive the recording and the book for free. Additional books may be read during your recording session. This is a no cost event for Active Duty, Reserves and Veterans.
