Next up in our #meetthecoords series is our wonderful Teen Leadership Program Coordinator, Chipsandguac! TLP is designed for our teen campers to learn skills and take on leadership roles during and beyond our camp experience. Chipsandguac is responsible for creating TLP training and programming for camp, leading LIT(Leaders in Training)-specific programs during our Friends and Family Days, and supporting our Operations team in all the wonderful work they do! Chipsandguac is ...a senior Child Studies major from Modesto, CA. I Kesem because it's quite possibly the best thing I've ever done. Making memories with our campers, cabin chats, and a full week of non-stop Kesem are some of my most favorite things. One fun fact about Chipsandguac is that she can make some really good cinnamon rolls! We are so lucky to have Chipsandguac as a part of our Kesem Family!
The second team in our #meetthecoords series is Operations! Rhubarb and Atlantic are our Operations Coordinators, and are in charge of putting together an amazing camp!! Rhubarb is a senior from Danville, CA. She is studying Economics, French, and Management Information Systems. I Kesem for all of the wonderful people involved in this organization. Each and every person I have met (campers, counselors, alumni, etc.) have been among the most genuine and compassionate peop...le I have ever known. I strive to give every child coping with a parent's cancer the chance to know these same people. One fun fact about Rhubarb is that she’s never actually eaten rhubarb... oops! Atlantic is a sophomore from New York City. She’s majoring in Child Studies, and has minors in Religious Studies and Sociology. I Kesem for my aunt, grandma and all the amazing campers we get to work with throughout the year. Camp Kesem is an unbelievable community that supports campers, families and counselors through cancer. One fun fact about Atlantic is that she lived in London for 3 years! We are so excited to have such a wonderful Operations Coordinators! Stay tuned for next week’s coord reveal!

Hi everyone! We are so excited to introduce our #meetthecoords series! Starting off, we have our Make the Magic Coordinators, Wallflower and Brunch! They are responsible for planning and executing our biggest fundraiser of the year. Wallflower is a senior Marking major from Madison, WI. I Kesem for my mom and because I want every child to experience the friendships and support that Kesem provides. One fun fact about Wallflower is that she once auditioned for Kidz Bop! ... Brunch is a senior Economics major from Ventura County, CA. To me, Kesem is a community where everyone can be themselves. I Kesem because it is a mutually supportive group of campers and counselors that will always be there for each other no matter what. A fun fact about Brunch is that a couple years ago, his flight before New Year's Day got cancelled so he spent New Year's at the Chicago airport. We are so excited to have Wallflower and Brunch in our chapter and cannot wait until the Make the Magic fundraiser in the spring!!

Thank you to all of our incredible donors who made Kesem at Home possible this year! Because of your generosity we were able to keep the Kesem magic alive and put on an amazing week of camp for our campers. We are also grateful for the support of our Make the Magic vendors, Woman’s Club San Jose and Athena Grill, for being so willing to move contracts and work with us. We are hopeful that all those who purchased tickets and donated will be able to join us for Make the Magic 2021 in whatever capacity it may take place! Thank you to everyone who supported us throughout this year! #givekidskesem #kesemmagic #kesemathome
