Reminder to register for the second of the series "Big Thoughts, Small Bites." This teen program (7th-11th graders) takes place on Jan 31-Feb 2, 9-9:30pm 3 nights over Zoom, 30 minutes each. Led by our Sherut L'Olam Director, Arthur Pinchev, "Big Thoughts, Small Bites" is an intimate and open space to discuss important topics. This program is free! Tu B’Shvat is this week and it is a favorite, important holiday at Shalom Institute. Core to our mission is stewardship and appreciation of our environment, Tu B’Shvat’s theme of rebirth and celebrating the birthday of the trees takes on extraordinary meaning as we witness our charred landscapes, trees, and garden blossoming.
