Well, that was short lived. I have had to close my massage office again due to COVID-19. There is no future date for reopening as of this post. There is a glimmer of goodness though, and that is that I am allowed to practice outdoors. So if you have a safe, clean, hopefully shady and cool space that will meet our safety needs and where you would feel comfortable receiving a massage and I would feel comfortable giving a massage, please book an appointment and I can come t...o you. I am in the process of looking for an area myself so hopefully in the near future that will be an added option. Just a few caveats for this: 1) The same COVID-19 massage protocols required to meet in my office also apply to any outdoor location. 2) I will need a place to change my clothing, wash my hands, and clean up after the massage. 3) If you have sheets that we can use and then I can leave with you afterwards, that would be beneficial. 4) If you have a massage table that you'd like to use, that would be great. 5) Even though we will be outside, masks are still required. 6) If either one of us upon arrival feels uncertain about the chosen location for any reason, then the massage will need to be rescheduled. Please do not take my insistence on both of us being able to remain safe as a referendum on you or your chosen location. In order to travel to different locations to do massages, the massage area has to meet the specifications or I cannot comfortably nor safely give a good massage. This is a very weird time, but we'll get through it together. I look forward to seeing and working with you again.

Hello! Well, good news at last, Dr. Mase has opened massage therapy in Sonoma County as of June 19, 2020. There are additional protocols for you as a client and me as a provider: 1) If you are ill or are feeling ill, please do not set an appointment, this includes, headache, stomach ache, chills, diarrhea, vomiting, or a general feeling of malaise. 2) If you have been around someone who is ill with or without Covid-19 symptoms, please wait at least ten (10) days before set...ting an appointment. 3) When you arrive, a face mask is mandatory before, during, and after the massage and entering the building. 4) When you arrive, please wait outside until I come and get you, at which time I will ask you about your wellness and take your temperature. If your temperature is 100 degrees or higher, you will be asked to rebook your appointment. 5) If you do a workout before your massage, please be sure to shower and to cool down completely so you are not sweating when you come into the massage room. 6) Please make me aware if you have any allergies to Nitrile or Latex. 7) Please be patient. For everyone's safety, the entire room needs to be sanitized between appointments. 8) Please use Venmo for payment when possible. 9) Relax and enjoy the bodywork. Friday, June 5, 2020 Hello. It's been a rough few months for all of us and could be still for a little while longer. We have a new normal now, and how that will affect massage hasn't been made clear to us yet. I am still waiting on the licensing board of California to release the new massage protocols and letting us know when we will be able to resume seeing our clients again. To that end, I hope that I will be up and running by July so I'm opening up my calendar beginni...ng the second week of July and am now taking bookings starting then. If something changes to extend that, then I'll work with you within that new framework that the licensing bureau gives me. I will be sure to let you know what you will need to do before our appointments and what you can expect from me during our appointments. So keeping my fingers crossed and feeling a bit optimistic, feel free to begin booking the second week of July. I have really missed working and visiting with you.
