Devastation trail is an easy trail in Hawaii's Volcanoes National Park. The entire Big Island is an interesting story of the constant cycle of life and destruction. While the lava destroys everything in it's path when it flows, the same lava also forms the rockbed for life to erupt in the future. Maui, you did not disappoint!! While West Maui has a very commercial and touristy feel to it and a lot of the more popular beaches are no doubt beautiful, but they are also crowded and parking is hard to find. This here is the Ho'Okipa beach near Paia, just before the Road to Hana starts. It was beautiful, and we also spotted several sea turtles on the beach (will share pictures later).
