Wow!! We have been overwhelmed by your response to the announcement of our retirement and decision to sell our business. Thank you for all the love and sweet words! We will miss you all! We have also been overwhelmed by questions! Here are some of the most asked questions, and answers: Q: What do I do with my gift certificate?... A: We are looking for a buyer for the business, and we hope the new owner will honor our gift certificates. But if you’d like to use your certificate now, please email us at [email protected] for information on how to do that. Q: Can you share a recipe or supplier info, and will you write a cookbook? A: Recipes and vendor info will included in the sale of the business, so no we can’t. And no cookbook for the same reason. Q: How much are you asking for the business? Q: Can I get some Tomato Bisque/scones/Chocolate Croissant Bread Pudding/ cheesecake, etc...? A: We are not taking special orders right now, and we are not doing our weekly pre-orders and pick-ups. After 25 years of owning and operating Camellia Tea Room, we have made the difficult decision to move on. Retirement is something that we had started talking about pre-pandemic. We had hoped to say goodbye in person, but, unfortunately, COVID-19 had other plans! We have made so many friends and had so many wonderful experiences over the past 25 years. To our customers, it’s been our honor to serve you and to be part of your special celebrations, traditions and memories. To o...ur staff, we thank you, and we couldn’t have been around for so long without each one of you. To our beloved community of Benicia, your love and support mean the world to us.
