Meet Princess Ashlyn . Ashlyn’s story and family are nothing short of amazing. Ashlyn started having seizures one very stressful day - after catching a flu... that gave her a high fever. She had 3 seizures in 24 hours which prompted the medical doctors at the hospital to diagnose her with epilepsy and put her on medication straight away. Mom said something didn’t feel right in her gut. Her intuition was telling her that the diagnosis wasn’t accurate and she said the side effects of the medication were interfering with Ashlyn’s bubbly, full of life personality. Her parents just knew they needed to explore other options for their baby girl! They sought out care from an awesome neurologist at Rush University who ran some specific tests (that came up negative) and agreed with them- the diagnosis was wrong and the medication was not the only option. That’s when their neurologist recommended PWC- he knew of the success stories that came out of PWC and the science based work Dr. Tony and crew were practicing. Enter PWC Mom said this whole experience totally changed her perspective of health and healing in a natural way. She said the care not only helped Ashlyn’s body get out of the stress that it was in, but also introduced them to the right resources and connections that are important for raising healthy kids . She said that it has given them the power to not live in fear and still live their lives- knowing the strength of their body’s ability to adapt . Though it wasn’t an easy road and Ashlyn’s body had to detox a lot of the built up stress...now this beautiful little princess is absolutely thriving. She hasn’t had a seizure since APRIL 2019 and she’s been able to kick the sick. She's full of life, smiles, giggles, and the most amazing blonde curls . The whole family gets adjusted and says they are just so thankful for finding their tribe and their people who are all so like - minded. Mom said she is forever grateful for PWC Chiropractic not only because it helps them stay healthier but she says that everyone is always so positive, supportive, and uplifting even in the toughest of times If you’re new to chiropractic or never been but curious what it’s all about...we’d love to virtually meet you next Thursday night! Dr. Tony Ebel will be presenting The Perfect Storm and our team will be live streaming it here. March 18th at 7:15 PM CST. Our team will be available to answers questions and connect you to a local Pediatric Experience Doctor. We hope you can join us!

Vitamin D has a huge impact on the health and function of your cells. Among its many functions, vitamin D reduces cellular growth (which promotes cancer) and im...proves cell differentiation (which puts cells into an anti-cancer state). But what’s even more fascinating is how vitamin D regulates and controls genes. When we don’t get enough it impacts every area of our biology, because it affects the way our cells and genes function. Your body makes vitamin D when it’s exposed to sunlight. The problem is that most of us aren’t exposed to enough sunlight or eating enough of the few natural dietary sources of vitamin D. The good news is that supplementing with vitamin D3 can be an effective way to reverse a vitamin D deficiency. However, it is important to test your vitamin D levels to assess your personalized needs before starting any supplementation. It is best to get your levels of 25-OH vitamin D checked for accurate dosing. Blood levels should be above 30 ng/ml, however, optimal levels are probably closer to 50 ng/ml for most. Many need 5,000 IU or more of vitamin D3 a day in the winter. Start with 2,000 IU for adults, 1,000 IU for children. Always work with your doctor before you start taking supplements. See more

Prior to 1993: The authorities of Anatomy said there is NO connection between the immune system and nervous system. 1993: They announced they found connections... from the nervous systen into the immune system. 1995: They stated they were surprised in the fact the nervous system appears to be intrically imbedded into the immune system. 1998: They state that the immune system is more like a circulating nervous system. Thus we have the birth of the study of Neuro- immunology. The chiropractic profession was right all along about this fact in it’s writings in the early 1900’s . Just saying......

Post 21 Step out of your regular weeknight dinner routine and try your hand in cooking a new type of cuisine! If you don’t have time to plan, shop for, and prepare every dish, store-bought or takeout is finejust try and create at least one dish together. Here are some sample menu ideas:... Japan - Take a crack at hand-rolling sushi, pair with miso soup and edamame, then finish with mochi. Italy - Show off your dough-making skills by whipping up handmade pizza, then serve up gelato for dessert. Spain - Try tapas! A few popular tapas - small plates for sharing - include patatas bravas, Spanish omelet, ham, cheese, olives, almonds, bread, gazpacho, and croquettes. Finish with some fresh fruit. France - Grab a baguette, assorted cheese, fruits, and vegetables. End with some pastries, cookies, and an espresso. Greece - Tzatziki, olives in olive oil, dolmades, grilled meat, and feta cheese all pair well with a stack of warm pita bread. Finish your meal with tea and baklava.

Post 19 No matter what platform you use, going live on social media can be a really fun way to spice up your date night. Being watched creates a new element of excitement, plus you get to showcase your witty banter for family and friends. Try going live while you make dinner, explaining what you make as you make it. You might even challenge another couple to go live with one of their date nights too!

Post 18 Sure, you might never actually rent an RV and travel cross country...but what if you did? How much is it to rent an RV anyway? Would it be a better deal to buy one outright then resell it? Could you fit your bed in it? Take a night to sit down and plan out some logistics so that you can maybe actually get the ball rolling on this plan down the line. Or, maybe you’ve both been eyeing tickets to another country next summer, why not do some research and see how that migh...t play out. Will you backpack or opt for a more luxurious option? If you’re not at the point yet in your relationship where you’re planning that far into the future, plan for a weekend getaway or day trip!
