In the recent past, a whole lot of courageous people have opened restaurants in Camarillo, giving us a more vibrant, high quality non-chain restaurant scene than ever before. It is such a gamble; restaurants exist on such small margins... and now they are being decimated, despite doing their best to accomodate every government mandate. All that hard work, all that personal investment. Each as we are able, please, let's support them. A small town keeps its character through small business.

I read in the posts you open your back door just before midnight, and your front at midnight, so the New Year pushes the old one out... and it's nice to walk out and greet your neighbors (and 20201) too! I'm definitely doing this!

During difficult times it's tempting to "self sooth" with junk food. But suicide by lifestyle is real. Every morsel that goes in your mouth either enhances your body and mind, or harms them. Let's walk, do yoga, move, breathe and our bodies will crave nourishment, not punishment... you are worth it, take care of you!
