You are invited to celebrate the Easter season with us at Calvary Chapel Chino Valley as Pastor David Rosales presents a series of special Easter messages for Good Friday and Easter Sunday. Kids Ministry will be available during all Easter services for children through 6th grade in classrooms throughout our campus. If you are visiting CCCV, we encourage you to arrive early so we can help you find the correct class for your child. You are welcome to sit anywhere in the Sanctu...ary or outdoor seating areas, but if you are more comfortable sitting around others who are also wearing masks, we provide a face mask only section option for you! We ask everyone attending service to maintain six-feet social distancing. Easter services will be streamed online for those who prefer to watch from home. Nevertheless, We hope to celebrate Easter alongside you. Come for fellowship and visit our on-campus coffee shop, Holy Grounds Café, to purchase a fresh baked pastry or a specialty coffee. You can also check out The Chapel Store, where you can find Bibles, Bible Accessories, Pastor David’s Books, and CCCV Apparel. Good Friday Service We will have sign language interpretation at our 7:00pm service, and a Spanish-language service will be held in the Chapel at 7:00pm. Easter Sunday Services We will have sign language interpretation available at our 8:30am service. Have you ever forgotten your keys and locked yourself out of your house or car? Or maybe you got to work before your boss, and you could not get inside until he arrived to open the door. Do you remember feeling helpless? In situations like these, you inevitably have to wait for a family member, road-side assistance, your boss, or someone else who has the key to unlock the door and let you in. Until that happens, you are destined to remain outside. Scripture tells us that Jes...us has the key of David, and what He opens no one shuts, and what He shuts no one opens. The key of David is a reference to His Messianic authority to grant others access to the kingdom of God. So when Jesus tells the church of Philadelphia that He has set an open door before them that no one can shut, He is reassuring them of their salvation because they have kept His word and have not denied His name. This Sunday, we continue our study through the book of Revelation as we look at the faithful church in Philadelphia. Like the church in Smyrna, Jesus has no words of condemnation for this church. Not only will we look at the qualities for which He commends them, but we will also see Jesus’ promise to keep them out of the coming Tribulation that will affect the whole world. So why not invite an unsaved friend or family member to come hear what the Spirit says to the churches? Do not let them remain locked outside the kingdom of God when Jesus has the key to let them in!
