Today, we honor the memory of Dennis Sparks, Caltrans District 7 Maintenance Superintendent II. Mr. Sparks was fatality injured in an automobile collision on October 31, 1988 while driving to a field office.

Eastbound I-105 two right lanes scheduled to close from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. each night heading into next week (including Saturday & Sunday). Moving closure to re-stripe lanes from I-405 to Studebaker Road (east of I-605). On & off ramps & interchange connectors (I-110, I-710, & I-605) close as work progresses.

Due to anticipated weather conditions, this weekend’s work has been POSTPONED to Nov. 13 16. The next scheduled 55-hour closure for this project is Nov. 6 9. FULL CLOSURE ALERT... EB I-210 will be fully closed this weekend for paving work in the San Fernando Valley. The highway will be closed between I-5 and Paxton St from 10pm Friday, Oct. 23 - 5am Monday, Oct. 26. NB I-5 left lane scheduled to be closed from 1/2 mile south of Florence Ave. Bridge to north of I-605 from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. the nights of Wednesday 10/21 & Thursday 10/22. To remove K-rail from construction zone.

TRAFFIC ADVISORY: @CaltransD7 plans 57-hour weekend FULL CLOSURE of NB lanes on SR-23 from U.S. 101 to Janss Road in Thousand Oaks, California for pavement rehabilitation from 8 PM Fri (10/23) to 5 AM Mon (10/26). Weekend Closure includes SB + NB U.S. 101 connectors to NB SR-23. Expect delays. Seek alternate routes.

Westbound I-105 two right lanes scheduled to close from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. nightly (including Sat & Sun) for striping. This is a moving closure starting at Studebaker Rd. Thursday 10/15 and progressing toward LAX. The crew may reach I-110 by Saturday 10/17 and LAX by Monday 10/19. Corresponding on and off ramps and the I-605, I-110, I-710, and I-405 interchanges will close temporarily as work moves.
