CCID & ISP Celebrating International Women’s Day 2021!! 2021 Theme: #ChoosetoChallenge, #CaltechChoosetoChallenge A challenged world is an alert world. Individually, we're all responsible for our own thoughts and actions - all day, every day. We can choose to challenge and call out gender bias and inequality. We can choose to seek out and celebrate women's achievements. Collectively, we can all help create an inclusive world. From challenge comes change, so let's all choose to challenge. www.internationalwomensday.com

Join the African-American Policy Forum (AAPF) RIGHT NOW (10/28) at 8:00 p.m. ET / 5:00 p.m. PT, on YouTube for their 18th installment of hit series Under the Blacklight. In this episode, titled: Black Men for Trump? The Overdue Conversation on Patriarchy and Misogynoir in Black Politics, we will be joined by distinguished activists, academics, and commentators, Wade Davis, Luke Charles Harris, Kiese Laymon, Marlon Peterson, and Alvin Starks to unpack the reasons why as many... as a quarter of Black men may support a President who seems to be in such direct opposition to the interests of Black men and their communities. In doing so, the panel will delve into the historical and contemporary implications of Black men’s complicity in patriarchy, misogynoir, and other forms of discrimination. And, with a view to the election and the political landscape after it, we will discuss how we may begin to react to this troubling threat before it threatens to be decisive. The episode can be viewed live, here - https://youtu.be/9WVBj3Lp6E0
