On Nov 26th, Kristen Dentici, Kelly Kesslof, Kai Liu, and David Sweezer represented the Cal Poly SFPE Student Chapter as volunteers for the Red Cross Smoke Alarm Event. They helped the Red Cross install smoke alarms in homes in the Mesa Dunes Mobile Home Park. The students gave brief educational talks about the function and importance of smoke alarms during installation. The event was a great success and they are looking forward to having more connections with the Red Cross.
