Announcing details re: the 2021 Nomadic Press/San Francisco Foundation Literary Awards! 20 writers will receive $5,000 each (a total of $100,000 will be awarded... in 2021) Awards per genre: 10 poets, 8 fiction writers, 2 non fiction writers You must be from the following counties to be considered: Alameda, San Francisco, or Contra Costa Judges: Poetry (3 past/current SF Poet Laureates): Kim Shuck, Tongo Eisen-Martin, Devorah Major Fiction (2): Juli Delgado Lopera, Ingrid Rojas Contreras Non Fiction (1): Roberto Lovato Timeline: February 15March 15: submission period March 15April 15: judges' reading period April 15April 18: final selections made April 19April 30: winners announced There will be a celebratory reading from the winners selected, and we are working on the timing of this. Likely in May/June. A Submittable page will go up next week with submission details per genre and as mentioned above, submissions will open on February 15! More soon!
