Calluna Vineyards

It is with very great sadness that we announce the passing of Molly today. For 14 years, and from our very first harvest, she was as much a part of Calluna as are our vineyards. She could be a naughty dog by stealing food off the table but lovable enough that it was hard to stay mad at her. She had a great life, running free in the vineyards and then lazing in the house. She had a bad cancer diagnosis a year ago but lived many months beyond what was predicted. She had ups and downs recently, yet it was hard for me to admit that the end was coming. I always thought she had one more harvest left. Since we all had to be off the property for some months after the fires, we are thankful she was able to spend her final days at Calluna, and here she will have her final resting place.

After 65+ days without power since the fire, it is good to see a small army of PG&E finally arrive at our property. There are still some challenges to this job but they seem to know what they’re doing and the head of the crew said we will have power by the end of today.
