At this moment local Napa Health Officials and State of California Administration leaves us uncertain when fans will once again be able to attend sporting ev...ents. We have no interest in organizing an event which would be unable to include the many fans who have been patiently awaiting the resumption of racing at Calistoga Speedway. With that said we have continued positive conversations with both County and City personnel and hope that soon there will be information available regarding a Calistoga Speedway 2021 racing schedule. It IS OUR INTENTION to promote multiple events at the Speedway and we will utilize all available resources to make this happen. It has been our pleasure to present entertainment events that have a historical flare for our many loyal fans and we plan on continuing this 12 year tradition in 2021. Due to the restrictions and regulations that have occurred as a result of the most current Covid-19 pandemic please note the following information: Regretfully HMC promotions and the Hunt Family must inform our loyal fans, supporters and racers that all activities at the Napa County Fairgrounds including Calistoga Speedway events will not be possible in 2020. The Hunt Family has been in continual contact with representatives from the County in an effort to establish an arrang...ement that would allow the remaining 2020 events to take place. Unfortunately, we now must face the reality of the situation and work toward producing events in 2021. We intend to produce a number of special events in 2021 including but not limited to the June Wine Country Classic and The September Louie Vermeil Classic and Wine Country Showdown. If you have pre-paid for tickets to the World of Outlaws Wine Country Showdown please contact the World of Outlaws for your refund. On behalf of the Hunt Family we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience that may have occurred as a result of these cancellations. We look forward to seeing our loyal fans and competitors during the 2021 season and sincerely thank all our loyal sponsors that continue to support racing at Calistoga Speedway.

In an effort to maintain the historical integrity of the Napa County Fairgrounds and the Calistoga Speedway HMC Promotions is enthused to move forward on the 2020 13th running of the Louie Vermeil Classic / Sept. 5-6. The Covid-19 pandemic has presented many challenges for the racing community and live event scheduling. Considering the timeline of the California reopening process and the evolving phasing schedule we feel optimistic to continue our pre event promotion. Like ma...ny of you we are all anxious to resume live fan attended auto racing. We have continued to process ticket orders for our annual reserved ticket holders and are excited to say that our loyal fans can't wait for the 2020 edition of the Louie. At this point we are thrilled to be on pace with previous years ticket sales. We are very excited to announce that a contractual agreement is in place and racing will return to the Napa Valley at Calistoga Speedway in 2020. On Friday evening, September 4th The "Calistoga Speedway Hall of Fame" Induction Dinner will again take place prior to The 13th Annual "LOUIE VERMEIL CLASSIC" on Saturday / Sunday, September 4-5 Labor Day weekend with the World Of Outlaw " Wine Country Showdown" to follow two weeks later on Saturday, September 19th. As you know it has been a complicated endeavor to secure a new contract and we are thankful to Napa County and the City of Calistoga for honoring their past commitment to auto racing at this historic facility. It is our intention to once again provide our fans with a spectacular entertainment package that will satisfy their need for speed and also give them a nostalgic reunion with Friends and racers.
