Happy Saturday youth! This has been announced at church for a couple weeks now but if you haven’t heard we will be having a New Years party at our church this year! The price is $30 per person. There will be 5 teams. The age is 16 and up. If you are under 16 and have a desire to join please approach pastor Ivan Komarchuk. To join a team please approach Mary Zemlyankin. The deadline to sign up is December 17th so please don’t hesitate! Tickets are $100 at the door. Come and join us for a night of fellowship, fun, and food. Husbands love your wives as Christ loved the church! But how did Christ love the church? He laid down His life for it. The role of a husband is to be the head and be in command but the authority of a man over a woman should be founded in his love for her. A love so great the he would risk his life for her . Husbands must provide, protect, but most importantly work to promote salvation of their wives. Happy Monday! #verseoftheday

As human beings we yearn for equality and submitting to someone often leaves us feeling inferior. However we should look at submission as a humbling and beautiful thing. Worry is associated with pride. Pride makes us think we can handle whatever situation we are in on our own. Instead of trying to manage your problems on your own, humble yourself and cast your anxiety/worries upon Him. Handing your problems to God does not make them automatically go away, but you will have peace knowing that He is in control and will work out everything according to His will. A great reminder to not get tired or worn out by doing good things. We are called to serve those around us and be an example of Jesus to them. No matter how hard or tiring it might be to constantly forgive, serve, and love, we must remember our reward will be so much greater in the end. #verseoftheday
