As you know, I sold my business, California Information Management, for health reasons in February of 2017. This was a tough decision for me and I really miss working with you. After winding down my involvement with the transition, I decided to continue my work by paying it forward through serving on three non-profit boards that make a difference in our community. One of the organizations I am very passionate about is Breaking the Chains. The Board of Directors includes s...everal prominent leaders in our community including Fresno Police Chief, Jerry Dyer. This work has been rewarding in witnessing the lives changed in the woman we serve. I wanted to share with you a wonderful opportunity to help combat human trafficking and have a chance to win a new home, a new car and many chances to win other fabulous prizes! Since its inception in 2006, the Granville Home of Hope fundraiser has helped countless valley families by raising more than $5.2 million for non-profits to help provide food, shelter, healthcare and education for those in need. This year, one of the Home of Hope beneficiaries is Breaking the Chains, an organization located in the central San Joaquin Valley that has been working tirelessly to provide rescue, relocation, restorative, and residential services to female victims of human trafficking. When you purchase a ticket from Breaking the Chains, you receive: A Chance to win a NEW HOME with furniture donated from Macy’s Home and Fashion Furniture Only 6,000 tickets sold Odds are great! If you purchase two tickets, you are also entered to win a 2-year Lexus Lease Only 2,000 tickets sold. A free box of Girl Scout cookies of your choice for each ticket purchased. You will be entered into the Breaking the Chains’ drawing for a Sonos 5.1 Surround Set with Playbase and One (VALUE $1500) Drawing April 25 on Facebook Live! Plus lots of other prizes donated by local businesses! As an added bonus, I will deliver the tickets and cookies to your workplace. Please respond to this post or contact Tiffany at (559) 321-4312 / [email protected]. When placing your order with Tiffany, let her know you are responding to this email for free delivery and cookies! Please forward this post to your co-workers, friends, and family. I cannot thank you enough for all your support! Have a great day and remember to Pay It Forward! Debbie Doerksen Board Member

More than 50 pairs of sneakers carrying messages of hope left at Copley Square in 2013 are now featured in A Long-Distance Relationship: The 26.2 Mile Journey, ...an exhibition at the Attleboro Arts Museum. We’re honored to protect and preserve these sneakers, and other items left to offer healing, year-round in one of our secure storage vaults in partnership with Boston City Archives. On this #OneBostonDay, these sneakers and the message they carry serve as a reminder of Boston’s strength and resiliency.

Dear CIM family, For over 24 years, California Information Management has had the privilege to serve your business information needs. We have been fortunate to have business partners like you that have grown with us over the last twenty plus years and our team has worked hard to bring you the best in customer service. As some of you already know, I was diagnosed with a rare pancreatic disorder which required surgery in 2012; the same type of disorder that affected Steve Job...s. While my health is stable and the prognosis remains optimistic, I feel it is time to consider a new chapter in life. This has not been a decision I’ve taken lightly; CIM, our trusted employees and valuable clients like you, have made this experience fulfilling on many levels. But, we all know when it is time to move forward and, for me, that time is now. I am pleased to announce that CIM has recently been acquired by the international firm, Iron Mountain (NYSE:IRM). Iron Mountain is a recognized global leader in information management and is eager to add the Central Valley to their long list of service locations. They are experienced in working with all levels of businesses, from startups to the Fortune 1000, in storing, protecting and managing their information and assets. Iron Mountain will be offering an expansion of the services available through CIM and the ability to further support your growing business needs while keeping the trusted and familiar personal relationships you enjoy with CIM staff. On every level, this is a win, and I am excited for both our staff and our business partners. I will remain onboard for the next six months to ensure a smooth transition and look forward to introducing you to the Iron Mountain leadership. In closing, I just want to say thank you. Thank you for your confidence and loyalty in CIM; entrusting me and our team with an important part of your business. Thank you for being our partner and friend. And thank you for your continued support and business through this next phase of business and life. With warm regards, Debbie Freeman-Doerksen President See more
