The deadline to submit your completed Census questionnaire is September 30, 2020. Be counted! online at www.Census.ca.gov Your participation is critical to ensu...re that disabled adults and children, and older adults receive funding for health care, transportation, education, plus fair representation in Congress. The number of Californians who complete the Census will have a profound impact on our neighborhoods, towns, counties, and the State of California for the next 10 years. Your responses are completely confidential. There are no questions about citizenship or immigration status. Take a moment to fill it out and submit. Please remind your family and friends.
CDSA is honoring Senate President pro Tempore Toni G. Atkins with the 2020 Legislative Leadership Award. Pro Tem Atkins has long been an ally and supporter to the intellectual and developmental disability community and she came through in a critical moment this year. Her leadership protected individuals with I/DD from potential cuts to the programs they rely on, preserved the direct care workforce, and provided stability for I/DD services in uncertain times. Please join us in thanking Pro Tem Atkins for her support!
