Message from SCAHA: SCAHA Families, Last night SCAHA voted to move tryouts to mid August with the goal of giving every club and facility the chance to hold some form of tryouts to build teams. In addition, choosing vs. delaying allows our families to plan out their summer without fear of the unknown. ... Here are our target dates: Aug 14 - AAA Aug 21 - AA and Aug 28 A/B & HS **key point: provided these dates are no sooner than Caha?s tryout dates. We did invite a few CAHA board members to our meeting last night to help ensure our decision will be officially supported by CAHA - who ultimately decides on when team formations can commence. This weekend, CAHA will hold a special meeting to approve these dates. We do not foresee any issues given the dates and our discussions to date. It looks like CAHA and SCAHA have officially postponed tryouts. More information will be released after the USA Hockey meeting June 12th - 14th.

Hello Bears Families, It's time for this week's coaches video!!! https://youtu.be/SMSI_lsRBoI... Coach Justin Blaszak brings us this week's awesome shooting skills video. Coach Blaszak played four years professionally in North America and Europe, and is a certified Level 5 USA Hockey Coach. This season, he coached his 12U A team from 10th to 4th place to secure victory in the play-offs against the #2, #3 and #6 seeds, and earned a spot in the SCAHA semi-finals. Their journey was cut short due to COVID cancellations, but so many good memories and team moments were realized throughout the season, that their place as winners was already established. Now that the rain is gone, send your players outside to practice their shooting skills, and drive your neighbors insane.
