I have heard Elaine Meyer speak, amazing women take a few minutes to watch this video on healthcare communication and the present gaps within it.
Excellent article in Modern Health, the importance of simulation in the training of healthcare professionals, in regards to patients safety and reduction of risk and the fact that there is an ROI using simulation.
Would you choose to build a house on top of an unfinished foundation? Of course not. Why, then, do we rush students through education when they haven't always grasped the basics? Mastery or score.
