Alexis is rocking the sustainable foraging message. Lots of spring edibles coming up now. On the East coast people have had Ramps fever for awhile and it's harming the populations. Here in the Bay Area we have the the 3 Cornered Leek - Allium triquetrum, that got brought over from Europe and is quite weedy and bossy in how it grows. Once it's in your garden it's very difficult to weed out. It has a lovely onion flavor and the whole plant can be used and now is the time to pick it. Harvest what is abundant and leave the native Alliums like Ramps be.
