A California Sparkling Ale, Blaine and Thomas spoke in 2017 at @greatamericanbeerfestival about creating this new hybrid style! #tbt . . .... Blaine brewed his first batch of beer in his dorm room at UC Berkeley - that beer became Buzzerkeley! Part Champagne, part Belgian Ale, part mead - Buzzerkeley was a mash up that pushed the boundaries of style and taste (link inbio for our @sfchronicle feature from 2012!).Pictured was a special edition - infused with Zinfandel pomace and brewed with Bordeaux wine yeast, Buzzerkeley Red further blurred the lines between beer and wine. Pictured is our brewmaster's new compost box - built from broken pallets that we use to deliver beer.... Composting is a great way to reduce your contributions to landfills... as well as adding nutrients into your garden!
